UKPSC State/Lower Subordinate Service Exam 2024: Eligibility Criteria

A. Educational Qualifications

Nayab Tehsildar: Graduate degree from any recognized university in India.

Deputy Jailor: Graduate degree; candidates must have proficiency in Hindi.

Supply Inspector, Marketing Inspector, Labour Enforcement Officer: Graduate degree with Hindi as a subject preferred.

Excise Inspector: Graduate degree.

Cane Development Inspectors (Senior and Junior): Graduate degree in Agriculture or related fields.

Khandsari Inspector: Graduate degree with working knowledge of Hindi.

Additional Qualifications (for some posts): Preference will be given to candidates with NCC ‘B’ or ‘C’ certificates or those who have served for at least two years in the Territorial Army.

B. Age Limit

  • Minimum Age: 21 years (as on 1st July 2024)
  • Maximum Age: 42 years (as on 1st July 2024)

Relaxations:

  • SC/ST/OBC of Uttarakhand: 5 years
  • Ex-Servicemen: As per government norms
  • Others (as per reservation rules): Applicable

Note: Candidates must ensure their age falls between 2nd July 1982 and 1st July 2003.
