The Research Centre Imarat (RCI), a premier laboratory under the Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Missile Complex, DRDO, has released the DRDO RCI Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Notification for the engagement of apprentices for the training year 2027.

Through this recruitment drive, RCI has announced 195 Apprentice vacancies for Graduate Apprentice, Technician Apprentice (Diploma), and Trade Apprentice (ITI) positions.

Eligible Indian citizens can apply online through the respective apprenticeship portals. Candidates must complete their registration and application within 30 days from the date of publication of the advertisement in the newspaper. No offline application will be accepted.

DRDO RCI Apprentice Eligibility Criteria 2026

Candidates must meet the prescribed eligibility conditions before submitting their applications.

  • The minimum age is 18 years as on 01 September 2026.
  • Candidates must have secured 70% marks or CGPA 7.5 and above in the qualifying examination.
  • The qualifying examination should have been completed in 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 or 2026.
  • Candidates possessing a higher qualification are not eligible to apply.
  • Candidates who have already completed apprenticeship training are not eligible.
  • Candidates currently undergoing apprenticeship training in any organization are also not eligible.
  • Candidates having more than one year of work experience are not eligible.
