
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially declared the Civil Services Examination (CSE) Prelims Result 2025 on June 11. A total of 14,161 candidates have qualified for the UPSC CSE Mains Exam 2025. Candidates can now check UPSC CSE Prelims Result 2025 and download the result from the official websites – upsc.gov.in and upsconline.gov.in.

The result PDF, which includes roll numbers of shortlisted candidates, is available for download. Candidates who appeared for the UPSC Prelims 2025 held on May 25, 2025, can search for their roll number in the merit list to confirm qualification for the Mains stage.

Indian Forest Service (Prelims) Result Also Announced
Along with the CSE prelims result, UPSC has also released the Indian Forest Service (IFS) Prelims 2025 result. Qualified candidates for both exams must update their DAF (Detailed Application Form) between June 16 and 25, 2025, on the UPSC website.

- Pay ₹200 (exam fee) unless they belong to the female, SC, ST, or PwBD categories.
- Update details related to scribe, assistive devices, large-font question paper (if applicable).

Note: The cut-off marks, final scores, and answer keys of UPSC CSE Prelims 2025 will be uploaded on the UPSC website only after the final results of the CSE and IFS 2025 are declared in 2026.
Selection Process
The UPSC Civil Services Examination is conducted in three stages:
- Prelims – Objective type
- Mains – Descriptive type
- Interview – Personality test
The final selection is based on the combined scores of the Mains and Interview, and a merit list is published accordingly.
